National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week takes place this coming October 20-26.
This opportunity provides another way to help get the word out to homeowners, renters, landlords and contractors in Frontenac about the dangers of lead poisoning. The main culprit is microscopic lead dust created during renovation activities conducted on housing built before 1978.
