How do I know if a permit is required?
Answer
Most construction permits including basement remodels and many kitchen and bath remodels require a permit when in doubt call the building department at 314-994-3200.
Details
The City has a contract with St. Louis County for enforcement of the mechanical, plumbing and electrical codes and a permit is required from St. Louis County for this work in addition to any building permits required by the City.
