Administration Department

The Administration Department consists of the City Administrator, City Clerk, Finance Officer, and Administrative Clerk. The Department oversees the City of Frontenac administrative matters, including oversight of the City’s finances, resident communications, licenses, and day-to-day operations of all departments.

Building and Planning Department

The Building and Planning Department consists of the Building Commissioner and Zoning Administrator, Inspector and Plan Reviewer, and Administrative Clerk. The Department performs zoning and building plan reviews, issues permits, and performs inspections of new construction and existing building sites to ensure compliance with all codes and property maintenance requirements in order to maintain the high standard of living and quality of life for the residents and visitors of the City of Frontenac.

Fire Department

The Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the citizens and businesses of Frontenac, Crystal Lake Park, Huntleigh, and Country Life Acres. The Department consists of the Fire Chief, Assistant Chief and Fire Marshal, Medical Officer, Captains, Lieutenants, and Firefighter/Paramedics.

Police Department

The Police Department provides quality policing services to the citizens and businesses of Frontenac, Crystal Lake Park, Huntleigh, and Westwood. The Police Department consists of the Chief of Police, Police Captain, Lieutenants, Sergeants, Corporals, Police Officers, Detectives, and the Records/IT Manager.

Public Works Department

The Public Works Department performs routine maintenance and infrastructure improvements of the public areas of the City of Frontenac. Their responsibilities include the City’s sidewalks, storm sewers, signage, lighting, traffic control devices, public plantings including the I-64 interchange, and the municipal building. The Department consists of the Public Works Director, Operations Foreman, skilled maintenance workers, and Administrative Clerk.
