Construction permits are valid for 6 months, however, permit extensions may be granted and there is a $100 fee for permit extensions.

It is expected that construction projects should be completed in a timely manner. The City and your neighbors do not want to see a construction project for a lengthy time especially room additions, pools and other projects that can be aesthetically displeasing.
