Delayed response times, increased property damage and even total loss are threats when property is not accessible to emergency responders.

The Knox-Box Rapid Entry System is a secure emergency access program developed for property owners and fire departments. When there is a fire or medical emergency, Knox-Boxes allow fire departments or other emergency personnel immediate access to property without delay or forced entry. Property owners store entrance keys, access cards and floor plans in high-security Knox-Boxes that are mounted near building entrances. Each Knox-Box purchased by a property owner is keyed to a single master key controlled by the Fire Department.

You can purchase a Knox-Box at cost from the Fire Department. This service is offered to all residents of Frontenac, Crystal Lake Park, Huntleigh, and Country Life Acres. If you are interested, please call (314) 994-1801.
