Architectural Review Board

The Architectural Review Board has three members who are volunteers from the community.

The Mayor appoints the members to the ARB. The ARB is established in accordance with Chapter 505 of the Municipal Code of Frontenac.

The Architectural Review Board reviews applications for building permits that impact the exterior architectural features of a structure and reviews applications for sign permits in accordance with Chapter 505 of the Municipal Code of Frontenac. If a property is located within a residential subdivision that is governed by a Board of Trustees, the ARB will not vote on an item until the trustees have reviewed the project. The ARB will not vote on a project without full construction plans. The ARB meets the first and third Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at the Frontenac City Hall unless there are no items to be reviewed.
